View Full Version : cost for 20~ haulmark or Wells cargo enclosed?

Im getting prices all over, one place says the Haulmark thifty car hauler would do me fine for $6500~ and the other place has a 24' Wells cargo with some upgraded stainless pieces for 9k? Most of these are +$450-600 for the 4 extra feet from 20-24' lenght. The wells cargo was a widebody but i doubt any wider than the haulmark.

Do i NEED their landscapers package and 3/4" walls? all are 16 o/c floor supports and similar in weight 3200-3400.

The Thrifty Hauler with the Thrifty Hauler package is a nice trailer. $6500 seems a bit steep for a 20' if it only has 7,000 GVW.

The 3/4 walls on the Wells would be nice for hanging stuff up but absolutely unnecessary. 3/8" walls are fine for hanging stuff, you just make sure you attach to a wall stud.

thanks, actually im comparing 10k double axle trailers. sorry for the miscommunication there. What have others spent? do i have to spend darn near 10k or is something for 6k plenty? i dont use this 5-6 days a week, more like 2-3.

I looked at The Haulmark Thrifty Hauler, very nice trailer. I was quoted $6300 +TTL for a 8.5x20.

As far as the Wells Cargo I got a quote with the landscape pkg, It was 10k.

No the widebody is not any wider than the Haulmark, from what I understand 8.5 is the legal limit.

I just paid 6400.00 out the door for a Haulmark 8.5x 20. If you do a search I posted some picks of it pretty sweet trailer.

cool i found them, nice trailer. why are the haulmarks so much cheaper than the wells? is it THAT much better or will the haulmark last plenty long?
