2005 F-350

TO ALL OWNERS:

There is a recall that I found out about. It is for 2005 F-350 with snow plow prep. Apparently, there is a ring on the trans that breaks and leads to major damage to trans. from going forward and reverse often (plowing). 2 day to replace- no charge. But also nothing in the mail about it. Had to find out on my own.

Yeah. That is my point. I only found out about it when I brought the truck in for the steering pump. No letters, notices etc about the recall from ford. I need to look into it. Just alerting everuone else in case they were like me.
