Do you pick up the money after you finish every time, or do you bill them at the end of the month or somthing?

If they are at home I try to make it a point but w/ I have a good understanding w/ mine. If it's a newbie then I make sure they are there before I start. Cause there ain't no feeling like getting screwed out of some hard earned cash.

I bill most of mine out in the middle of the month, for that month. The money is due by the last day of that month. I have a few that pay weekly because they are always home when I service their lawn.

A few of my customers prepay ahead for a few months. The other customers will either leave me the money at a designated location around the property if they are not home. The ones that are home just pay upon completion of work.

All of my commerical customers I bill monthly and the rest I either leave the bill in a door hanger style self adresssed enevolpe and they mail it to me or if they are at home they pay me

Normally i send out a Invoice @ the end of the month, Some customers send a payment early some late. Sometimes i get a few that come out and hand me a check. It all depends on the customer really.

All are billed at the end of the month, All must be paid by check, We never will accept cash at the job, to hard to keep track of money if it is cash. Keep the paper trail

looks like a lawnboy or teenager when you collect on the day of service....more professional to bill the customer
