What is everyone charging for mulch services? Cleaning beds and mulching.

I charge $65/yard for mulch, installed. Cleaning beds prior to mulch, I just estimate how many hours it'll take, multiplied by my hourly rate. Customer gets a firm number, not an hourly rate.

Every area will be different. You need to sit down and see what your cost is for every thing, cost of materials, labor of other people.

My rate is $60.00 an hour in my area, then I pay $23.00 a yard for mulch and charge my customer $35.00 a yard of mulch, so that way a make a profit on the mulch plus my hourly rate. Sit down and find out what your figures are.

Generally $75.00 a yard. Measure up and calculate the number of yards needed and then give the customer that price.

Another dumb question probably, but how many sq. feet will one bail of pine straw cover at 2 inces depth?
