View Full Version : HELP bidding on a chruch

Hi everyone......I am going to place a bid on a church that is close by to my house. It is approx. 2 acres of grass. I have an exmark lazer Z xs 31/60 and a tthp 15/36. Also about 15,000 sq. ft. of the 2 acres will have to be mowed with the tthp because of some extreme hills and the rest will be mowed with the lazer. Trimming is required just around the actual church and a few trees. I am unsure of how much to charge per week. How much would you charge?
Thanks in advance,

Right around $210 for me a cut.

my guess would be $150-200 depending on how long it would take you.

How long do you think it will take you?

Another factor to consider. The churches I maintain like it done at the end of the week. They also need a little flexibility in case of weddings, funerals, etc. Good Luck:)

$100/cut, and throw in a Mass intention. You'll get it back in spades! :clapping:
i mowed a church for years. good $$, but a real pITA. every member at the church "knew somebody" who coud do it cheaper.
also, when there's a changing of the gaurd, it's like a whole new account. that's where i had my problem, the new priest was very hard to get along with.
i think churches are tax exempt, atleast partially. an issue sometimes,,, i can't remember the details.
