What are you paying for Gas?

i paid $2.95 for diesel yesterday and $2.64 for 87 gas today. gas/diesel prices shouldnt be this high, but i fear they will get higher by the time summer hits.

I complain at every fill-up.

Gas here is $1.06/liter, and that converts to about $4.01 a US/Gal for 87

Diesel is $0.99/liter, and that converts to a little more than $3.77 a US/Gal

It turns out that most of the oil that comes out of the ground here in Western Canada goes to either the US or to Asia to be refined. The refineries charge an extra transport rate when they sell it back to us. Then our thoughtful government adds what they figure to be their fair share. Now in British Columbia, we're also getting hit with an extra "carbon tax" to fight the non-existant green house effect.

We pay $3.05 Diesel, We use a surcharch fee for times when diesel starts to rise high. After $3 we set up a chart that will increase our prices by a percentage depending on how high it goes. Montana
