Ok Guys, I have been out of loop for a while at least in regards to insurance. On eof my employing is looking to get General Liability Insurance. Actually he wants to bid on a landscape project for the University as a private contractor.

We have an off site cemetary that we have to maintain and it's too much of a PITA to haul the equipment and people out to do it. since I am not geared for equipment and people movement. And he want to do it....

His State farm agent told him to shove off. Does anyone have any other good ideas on who to call that I could pass on to him. Erie said they don't do insurance in the District....

thanks

Marc

I also have $2mil. through Nationwide. They don't like to do gen. liability but since they insure my house, three vehicles, and some jewelry, they go ahead and do it. Better rates than I've found going elsewhere.

I have 1 mil. gen. lia. and inland marine (About 14,000) and pay a little over $700.00 a yr, with Nationwide. This is the cheapest I have found and I have shopped around. My business auto is thru State Farm. I pay about 1065.00 per yr. Also the cheapest I could find. Good luck
