We just got .5" of slow soaking rain. The first decent rain we've had in about 3-4 weeks. I can just hear the grass saying, "Ahhh"!

We have gotten a lot of small rains here. Most have been between 1/4" and 1/2" and most have come at night. :)
Last spring was very dry here. We turned on our sprinkler system in mid March which is a first for us. We have a lot of flowers and they came up early since it was so warm and they needed water. Normally we don't even need to turn it on until June around here.

We aint got nothing. Looks like there is rain scattered all around us. But as usual we get zip. I see it all up there in NC. Whatever happened to the trickle down theory? I cant take another drought year

No rain yet here (Edmonton), and record low snowfall over the winter. Could be a tough year. We have already had triple the number of grass fires than the last three years with no relief in sight!
Although burning gets rid of thatch , doesn't it . . . ?

Some lawns here are already showing signs of heat stress, the rain we had was badly needed. Just stopped this morning, everything is soaked so I think I'll go play 18 holes, tee time is at 3:00. :)

I was about half done on my one lawn for the day when the bottom dropped out. I got soaked but I finished. The little belt drive Toro just kept going. Now if it will rain like that about once a week we will be in good shape.

We got 13.0 in March and .013 in April, go figure. Got juuuuuuuuuuuuusttttttttttt a little the other night, enough to perk the weeds up.. I hope things will be better than last year, I really wanted my yard to do something but so far it looks as bad as it did last year. When it does rain the following day the wind is running faster than a 2 engine Chopper so it dries everything right back up in a few hours!

Finally, we just got a little teaser last night. Just enough to keep the dust down. Life is much cleaner now!!!
