hi all...i am very new in this business, and im fixin to buy my first trailer. I have found an awesome deal on an enclosed 6x12, that is baisically new. my question is, does a 6 cylinder 1985 f-150 have enough power to pull this trailer with a walk-behind on it?/???? anybody runnin this setuop now??? thanks for your help in advance

Your 300 cube six will pull it right down the road, just don't expect to win any drag races with the guys running the newer trucks.

No problem! I pulled a 6 X 12 haulmark last season with a s-10 6 cylinder no problem.

Them ford straight 6 300 cubic inch motors were made for towing. They have a lot of torque and a long lifespan! You should have no problem! I have an 88 f150 with a 5 speed and it pulls no problem! Good Luck

You should do fine get trailer brakes if it has none get em.

I have a 6x12 enclosed trailer and I have pulled it with a 1500 chevy 6 cyl before and it pulled it like nothing was back there with a toro 44" ztr with all hand tools

That 300 won't even break a sweat with that trailer. Go for the trailer.

I have a 6 cyl sport trac and I pull a haulmark 6x12 fine. Braking is tricky when wet though.
