Do you feel this is a good way to market landscape lighting products?

What's your opinion?

Why buy from us when our customer can get it cheaper on e-bay?

people who want to buy there lighting on e-bay are not my customers. My customers are (as I am sure most others on this forum are) professionals in their career choice and have respect for our company because we are in ours. Spend your time gaining knowledge, work hard, stay humble, and eventually, lord willing, respect will come your way. I'm humbled everyday about all that I don't know but that's what makes my career choice so exciting.

Why bother to "give a hoot" you can't
stop people from selling on e-bay so your question is moot.It would be "Moot to give a hoot".A waste of energy.:hammerhead:

I dont plan to cater to the DIY or weekend warrior anyways.

95% of my customers for maint work are people who
A) dont have the time
B)want it done better
C)cant do it themselves
D)dont have the knowledge or equipment to do it themselves.

Why would I care if they buy knock offs on ebay or if they buy malibu in lowes?

Its not my customer base. Its like the Rolls royce dealer worried about the guy down the street selling hyundais or some crap.

A better analogy is me worrying about you stealing my work. I think Burt and I are about the closest memebers on here (2-3 hours) and we dont seem worried about eachother. Worry about the guy setting up shop next to you selling the same products dont worry about whats on the web. If you customers are surfing ebay for quality lighting your marketing to the wrong crowd

Yes actually Rome use torches for uplighting so in protecting the industry standards thats exactly what I would have had to do had I lived then.
I don't suppose you would care to give your answer to such a question huh?..Oh yea I forgot you dont follow up more than one reply per thread you start
