Have you run the chipper yet? does that sub compact have enough HP

It is a BX23, it has enough HP as long as you pay attention to what you are feeding it. It will do real good on up to 4in, but after that you have to control the feed to it so it des not bog down. It really suprises me how much power this thing has.

16 k for the tractor which is actually a sub compact backhoe, 1900.00 for the chipper and 1675.00 for the trailer. It is a really good feeling to watch trailer loads of brush come out to a small pile of chips.

we have a small guy like that the only problem is it would reach over the dump sides to load stuff...but other than that it was great...so we went out and bought a cat skid steer lol still have the kobota and its awesome use it on little jobs

I really like your tractor. My friend was considering one but then thought it would not have enough power so now i think he wants the B21.:waving:

That is one very nice tractor, I wish I had something like that.

The chipper is very heavy and runs like a scladed dog. If you have to have dealer support on EVERYTHING you buy or you depend on it every day i would recommend a salsco or bear-cat. If you have an occasinal use for one and hate to rent anything than this could be the one for you. Oh yeah did i mentin a little bit of mechanical knowledge would help too. This setup is a little underpowered if you want to tackle six inch diameter stuff but I normally will cut them in to 4ft sections and load them in the dump trailer which the bucket just clears. These are some before and after pics of a job i did this weekend for a friend. I often consider if i should have gotten the B21 but this tractor is lighter and not as big of foot print. Also price payed a big part.

I am not in the tree business or the tractor business. I just have a tractor and can do some light tree work. Some people always wanted a boat or a motorcycle or a fast car. I have had all of hose and the tractor makes the most money for the amount of fun you have. (Until it breaks!!!!)

I hope i have answered all of the questions.

Yep The BX 23 is a tiny bad mother of a TLB. It rocks.

I dont think i can put it any better than itsgottobegreen did. The backhoe is a real life saver. I initially wanted a compact tractor only. But thinking about the other things you can do with a backhoe, it became an easy decision.

My first Kubota was a B-7100 in 1981. I was amazed at the power such a small unit had!! I am happy for you. Kubota makes the best in my opinion. I have had several over the years. Currently we have 2 ZD-28's, a ZD-25 and I have a Kubota L-3710 4WD Hydro with a loader. Very powerful!!
Congrats!!!!:weightlifter:
