I don't mean electrically. I mean when a customer asks you to add a few more fixtures and you know you are gonna need another cable run but are too lazy to install it. Instead you add them to an existing line effectively dropping the voltage to 9 volts or so hoping they won't notice.

Way would you half ass a add on? If they are willing to spend more on thier system they should get what they are paying for.

They will notice the difference as soon as it gets dark and ALL the lights are lower brightness. People have a tendancy to notice silly little things like this.

this is stupid. If you gotta run another line tell them and bill them acordingly. If a plumber comes to thier house and they need a new drain or something he aint just going to stick some tape on it. He is gonna tell them it needs a new one and bill them accordingly.
