It is a Croton.
They like lots of light. Moist soil. Keep the tops cut out to maintain a bushy plant. Otherwise they get a little leggy.

This plant shouldn't be confused with the genus Croton, which is a different plant. The genus of this plant is Codiaeum, but is commonly called a Croton plant.
These plants like warmth and high humidity, so misting it during it's growth period helps achieve this. Just water it regularly - don't let the soil dry out. Applying a general purpose fertilzer every 2-3 weeks can also be beneficial. They are prone to some pests, so keep an eye out for them.
