I have a customer who has a lot of fescue in there flower beds. What is a good product to kill this out? They have a pretty thick layer of pine needles to get through also.

Thanks for your help.

How big is the bed or beds? And how much is covered?

If you were a licenced pesticide applicator, you wouldn't be asking that question. Don't set yourseld up for a big fine, your name in the paper, etc.. My suggestion is to have someone (licensed) do the job for you or simply tell the homeowner that you are not licensed and you do not want the risk. Before I had a license, that is exactly what I did and my customers respected the honesty. Yours will too. And yes there are a number of products that will do the job.:)

I used Fusilade II last year, picked it up at Lesco.

It takes a while to work though, it's just sprayed right over the top of everything.

Make sure you're licensed though, or else direct the customer to the product.

Took about 2 weeks to see any results, then you still have to pull the Fescue.

Might as well just pull in the first place.
