I have a Echo pruner that idles fine but when full throttle is applied, it stalls out. I have removed the exhaust flame ******er. It's a fairly new unit. Any help would be appreciated.

Three things to check.

1) Fuel filter not clogged up?

2) Fuel lines ok, not cracked or shrunked?

3) If those check out then you need to either dissassemble and thoroughly clean the carb or rebuild the carb.

The 261 model has a carb adjustment, that has a knock out plug. You might need to adjust that. It would not seem logicial that a new unit needs adjustment but maybe you are at a temp extreme? The 230 has two adjustment screws on carb...so turn as needed.

sounds like the carb needs cleaning
