A customer who wants me to maintain his yard has a few areas that stay a little damp and don't get much sun. They have some growing in these areas. Any suggestions on the best way to eliminate the moss.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Heres some info.
or also two items you can try. Dawn Ultra dish soap at 2-3ounces per gallon of water or an iron sulphate at 6 ounces per gallon of water.

If you can open up the tree canopy overhead (if applicable) and let some more sunlight in.
Make sure there is better drainage in the area...i.e. if there is a downspout that dumps to the area try and reroute it.

u could use lime to get rid of it.
Lime is a good choice and it is very inexpenvive. Not a quick fix but will help over time. Can't be a one time thing either, have to maintain the pH balance.

If you want to kill moss fast, use bleach.
No, I am not joking.
