I have the opportunity to pick up a Snapper walkbehind from a new customer who cant use it anymore because of a stroke. Are these any good? It's a belt drive with 44 or 48 cut. Don't run a wb now and thought it would be a nice addition to my turf tiger for smaller yards. Sound off.

I have a 52" Snapper Walkbehind its my pick over all the others. They are built very well and the loop steering is the best. The cut is also great im on my 9th yr with mine, its a hydro i really don't know about the belt drives but i bet it has a very good cut,I started last season runing doubles and those things lay down a great stripe. Good luck if you purchase it. Marks Mowing Service....ps ive never had any major problems with mine either.Just belts, one regulator and tires, ive got the 16hp Vandguard and its been maintenance free.

Will the belt drive go down hills well? I've heard they will run away. Is there any means to adjust the tracking on these or is it a non issue? BTW it is a 14 horse.
