When you guys give mulch est. how thick are you planning on making it. I always give est. for 3" deep. How about you guys?

I usually provide enough for 2.5 or 3 inches unless they just want it topdressed then more like an inch or inch and a half.

If the color is staying the same you only need about an inch, otherwise if your changing colors or the mulch is already 5"+ you need to remove than put 3" down.
