I personally HATE brush after a job we did last year so I would absolutly make it worth my while. If they are an existing customer I would'nt lie to them just tell them the price. Is it 2 dumptruck's worth or just 2 pickup trucks worth? For 2 dumps worth I would think more like $150-$200 and if its 2 p/u's worth then your in the ballpark. Because they probably want it raked clean after all the debris is gone so that will take some time as well.

If it was only a mile down the road that doesnt sound too bad. No power tools used except your truck and really light driving not to bad.

As for me, I will NEVER lower my price again so that I have to hunt around for some place to dispose of stuff for free. I take my stuff to Shoosmith Landfill and I am through with the nonsense. Even if I already know of (or have) a place where I can dump it for free, I still won't lower my price, that's just one dump fee I don't have to pay but the price doesn't come down.
Any kind of brush clearing that involves hauling means the stuff goes on my trailer - It costs 160 dollars per 6x12x2 (5 cubic yards) trailer load, minimum (it can cost as much as 200), and it's per load... Doesn't matter if it's a little or a lot, it's 160 dollars per trailer load, minimum (yes, even if it's only 2 trashbags). Ok, fine, I'll take your 2 trash bags and dispose of them with my household garbage which also goes to Shoosmith Landfill (about once or twice a year, I load up)... 35 dollar minimum to do it that way.
2.5 hours to clean, that sounds like about 1 full load, 175.
Keep in mind it costs 40 dollars / load to dump it, regardless of whether you have to pay this fee or not (I have to pay it, but it doesn't matter).
I really hope wherever you dumped it, that you know the property owner and you have permission to do so. It's a big fine for dumping on someone's land, and it's just as big of a fine if you're caught dumping on public property (i.e.: government owned).
The other option I have used before is to use my backpack sprayer with 4 gallons of round-up, this is considerably cheaper and does a great job killing off a bunch of brush, and no hauling. The drawback is the customer has to be willing to be patient as it takes 2-3 maybe 4 months before the dead stuff has decomposed. Cost-wise, 60 dollars per 4 gallons clears a considerable area of crap.

i know the property owners very well and they encourage people to dump leaves and light brush on their land....
this place was only about a mile from my customers house so i cant beat that....
it was 3 loads of brush heaped up real good in the bed of my half ton pickup
i wish i had asked for a little more money tho.....
