i can tell you a few prices here:
$25/yd pine bark
$28/yd spruce
$30/yd cedar
thats just bulk price. the local nursery gets $21.00 delivery charge on top of that. i myself charge around $25 a yd to edge and mulch/yd and then tack on a fee for hauling it.

I only deal with double-shredded hardwood and dyed wood-waste.
--Double-shredded hardwood, per yard, delivered & installed $45
--Dyed wood-waste, per yard, delivered & installed $55
If I use the blower truck take $5 per yard off.
That's my prices, based on my profit margin.

Steve, you said you have a blower truck? What brand and model did you purchase and at what price. I have been looking into one of these machines, and am trying to see if they would make my business more profitable. Are they effective in smal areas, even around plants.

Man, I wouldnt last in any of these areas. I charge 50-60 per yd depending on the amount I haul. This includes delivery. Colored mulch runs 60-75 per yd.

Cedar mulch is the most popular and recommended here and I charge min of 50 per yard to recap existing. It can go upto 65.00 depending on the job. I usually haul smaller loads myself (6 yards or less). I dont do new installs but I know there is $$ in it.
