Dieing of grass?

I have a customer who called today from there winter home in Florida wondering if I could dye there grass like they do at there golf course in Florida. Does anyone know anything about this? It is a totally unknown concept to me and I am just wondering what it consists of or if it can even be done in my climate?

There are a variety of paint and dye products out there. I have used Lesco's green turf paint a couple of times. I can tell the difference, but your average homeowner probably can't. Used it during a bad drought for a customer who was having a wedding at his house. We irrigated to part where the wedding would take place and just apinted the outer areas. The paint will gum up a sprayer, so take the screens out first!!
