I have not put very much sod down, and the three times that I have the customers have bought the sod and I have provided the labor. The areas were already prepared except for some light levelling. Now, I have to bid on a job in which I will take out the customers existing yard down to the level where I can sod it. I can get the sod for about $.20/sq.ft. What should I charge per square foot for the removal of the existing lawn and the prep work? Also, what do you guys charge to lay sod per square foot? Thanks!
