Hi Everybody. I am writing this and posting it in several of the forum sections to get the word out. I am coming home on leave in the beginning of July to have my marriage blessed and a reception, etc. I was hoping sometime during the second week of July all of us guys on Lawnsite.com that are located in the tri-state area could meet up at a central location (depending on who all wants to come) and talk shop, grab a few beers, BBQ or whatever you guys want to do. I know for sure that I would be free on the 12 and 13th of July. I will be going home to the Waterbury/ Watertown, CT area. I know Fishkill, NY (Home of the Snow Pro’s :) ) is only about an hour drive down 84 for me, so maybe that will help some of you other guys see the distances we’re talking. I guess what we can do, is everyone that would like to do this, and is free on one of those 2 days (Plan Ahead for it guys!!) e-mail me at DirtboyDave@aol.com and we’ll keep a mailing list for all of us New England / Tri State Area guys and I’ll send out updates as it gets closer and I get some reply’s. Hope to get some e-mail’s and meet some of you soon!

Try to keep the post alive so its stays somewhere near the top so all the readers can see it when they check in!

Hey I have 3 bedrooms and theres only me and my wife, so I have plenty of room, don't joke, stop by whenever you'd like too!

I will be in the St. Louis Area (Illonois side of the boarder though) next summer, and we can do this same thing then!

Do you offer 3 point RV hookups or should I just dump my black water tank in the storm sewer in front of your house?

I am near Danbury, CT. I think it would be cool to have a get together. Unfortunately I have little room as I live in a condo. Unless you wanted to use the shop LOL. Keep me up to date.

Stone - If you can get that ole RV out to Germany, I'd let you park it in my living room!

Dave,
Mike from New Hampshire here. I might be able to make it if it's a hair further north like Rhode Island. How bout Newport? My boys live in Rhode Island on the border of CT so somewhere near there might be good for me. Maybe Foxwoods casino resort, then we might be sure Stone might make it for a bit of gambling! I'm a born Masshole and have lived in every New England state so far so traveling isn't too big of a deal. Let me know.

I would stop up to see ya, but that is a busy month for me. I have to tend to the g/f, cause she is having surgery. If I lived up in that area, I would definitely be out, but sorry I can't make it.

How about meeting at this state park off of I-84?

KETTLETOWN STATE PARK

175 Quaker Farms Road, Southbury, 06488
Open through Columbus Day. 72 partly wooded and open sites. Dumping station, flush toilets, showers, fishing, swimming. Trailers and RV's may not exceed 26' in length. No pets.
$10/night/campsite
Campground Office (203) 264-5678
Park Office (203) 264-5169

In the commie state of CT they hit you up for a entry fee.

In the Commonwealth of PA the state parks are all FREE entry.

That's the difference between a commie state and a commonwealth.

Okay its getting close. E-mail me at DirtboyDave@aol.com so I can put a e-mail list together and work out the details, then I can get everyone on the same page before I leave, and we can post the details here in case anyone else wants to stop by.

I'll bring this one to the top one more time before I leave for the states in 2 weeks. We already have a few guys coming, but I noticed a lot of new members from the area so I wanted to bring it up once more. Drop me an e-mail at dirtboydave@aol.com if you want to go so we can account for food and beer/soda.

Hope we can have a good meeting.
