My question is, who or what is "Synthetic Golf Greens", and what type of survey was done, and by who, to come up with the information that a synthetic green is the most profitable niche service idea of 06?

Would that be a little like my business telling my customers we were voted best company in our area by our own newsletter crew? Our own in-house survey perhaps?

Quite honestly, with the amount of backyard water gardens, outdoor fireplaces, and outdoor cooking/kitchen areas being put in, a synthetic green is hardly the number one profitable niche.

I am sorry but these golf green things in the backyard is nothing but a joke. I know of 3 contractors in our states the install par 3 holes on a few of the clients houses, but other then that I cannot think of one customer I have had that would have been even remotely interested in spending this kind of money on a green. They can go to any golf course and practice on the green for free. I m sure in some states there may be some guys making money on this, but personally I think its a joke.

Anyone else, who wasn't paying to advertise here, this would be called spamming. They have their own forum, they can't stick to that?
