Old scag and grasshopper restoration

I bought an old grasshopper and a 3 wheel scag and they need a mechanic's touch. The hopper came without a motor and the scag may run, but need alots of work too. Any suggestions on getting these old relics to cut for the next season. I want to do all the work myself, in order to save on labor costs.
