Best Alternative to Preen

I am looking for the best alternative to Preen. I am tired of paying $25.00 for a 22.5 lb bag. I am using this for my mulching jobs. I would like to buy in a bulk amount, say 50 lbs plus???.

I just want to know what you pros think is the best, but also affordable.

Also, what do you think about Lesco Products

snapshot. lesco has good quality products but so do many other suppliers so shop around!

Snapshot is what i use I have used Ronstar in the past

snapshot, surflan, pendulum.... surflan shouldnbt be used around annuals.. The same is mentioned of snapshot, but have not noticed any detrimental effects from snapshot in recommended usages.

Snapshot is what I would recommend.. You're gonna spend 80-90 bucks for a 50# bag, but the control is MUCH better and longer than Treflan (Preen)

You may want to compare the labels to preen and snapshot. The AI is the same, just higher%in snapshot. Personally we have had great results with snapshot.

Can you use treflan around bulbs? Also if snapshot is outlawed in NY what else can you use?
