The company I work for starts you out at $8 an hour and trimmer/blower guys can make up to $10. Mower operators/crew leaders make $14-$16. There are no benefits, however.

laborers and foremen get $17.50 and $22.50 respectively, 5 personal days and 1/2 major medical reinbursement

PTP you might want to reconsider your pay method. If you have an employee who works more than 40 hours he can come back on you because he did not get paid overtime. I have seen it happen before. Now of course if you give every one of your employees a mangement title of some sort you may be able to get away with it.:)

PTP you might want to reconsider your pay method. If you have an employee who works more than 40 hours he can come back on you because he did not get paid overtime. I have seen it happen before. Now of course if you give every one of your employees a mangement title of some sort you may be able to get away with it.:)The management titles won't help, unless less than 50% of their work period is manual labor.

You can pay 'Chinese' overtime on the $5 per lawn rate and still be legal.
