I Am In The Process Of Bidding A Hedging And Mulching Job,hedges Have Not Beeb Keep Up With.boxwood Hedges And Holly Bushes Are From One End Of The House To The Other And All Around Decks And Patio.approx.420 Of Schrubs To Be Trimmed And Cleaned Up,remulch,and Weed Schrub Beds.any Idea On How To Bid This Job,just Getting Started In Landscape Type Jobs Have Only Been Doing Mowing Services So Far.thanks For Any Help.

First thing, how much do you want to make an hour. Figure up your op costs and then add what profit is acceptable to you. Then just take everything one step at a time. Calculate how much time you think each task will take and add that up. After multiplying it by the hourly cost I usually add in a little more to help cover if anything unexpected happens. Dont forget to charge for the dump fees and so on. Good luck.

Thanks mrbray101,there will be 2 of us doing the job,we normally charge 35 an hr for lawnmowing,how much is a good hourly rate on this tpye of job.
