Hopefully where you conduct business, this is not happening.
In my area TGCL is offering special pricing on the first treatment of the season, $30 for smaller lawns.
Just talked to one of my potential customers this morning......
"I'd like to go with your service but other companies are offering a $30 first application" My standard rate for this customer would be $55. Mind you that the first app in this area is always preemergent, which is one of the most expensive of the year.
This puts me in a compromising position to say the least.
