Sorry for the size of the pics, there are 3 of them, they may take a bit to load
Here are pics of the hill in the slope posting we all found amusing.
I met up with Joshua today and He's a good guy
Just needs to brush up on guessing angles....
The proof is in the pics !!
The 3 pics are of the actual spot in the slope posting, I have taken a side pic and pics with the angle meter. 20 degrees was the reading on that hill....
So as you can see, We are not going to be POUNDING ANY SALT...

Is that house in the background New York's version of the leaning tower of Pisa?

No, I was a little on tilt on that steep hill....lol
Also, that house is in Ohio.......Where we took the pics...
hate to but if the picture had the lamp post and house at a 90. then friend that would not be a 27 degree hill.
and it certainly is not one i would be going off in forward.josha id assume you never get stoped til you get to a flat area.what you going to do if a kid runs out there when you are making a run.really not criticizing just wondered if you have thought it thru.mabe im not geting something but taken with post strait that is a very steep hill.later on

The house is on another hill across a street, and the proof is in the reading of the angle meter, it may not look right, but it is, the hills are all different in that area.
Joshua was standing right there when I took the pics...and the meter readings.

I was mowing slopes like that when I was 13 on a 1972 Sears Suburban 12.

Woa!
"The Kid" has been busted.
No salt pounding here.
Those slopes are more in line with what a Z turn can accomodate.

if the house and pole were at 90 degrees that hill would just look steeper.

YEP, I can sit back and relax while Joshua does all my mowing. Better hurry-up, I don't want to get behind.

well, i was wrong by a long shot on the slope angle. so i geuss i'll go pund some salt in the drive right now.
someone said what if a kid runs out when i'm cutting, very good question, if i see someone nearby, i watch them to make sure they don't come by me, only time anyone is on that property is right after school, it is a funeral home and they have signs posted at all entrances and exits for no bikes, rollerblades, ect..
kirby email me your addresse. i did say that.
the kid was wrong on this on, but better on here than on a lawn bid or landscaping bid.

At least you now admit you were wrong. It's hard to argue with an Ex carpenter about angles. :)

Joshua, how long will it take you to get to New Mexico? About 2 full days of driving! You are going to be tired.LOL. If you do run over some kid, you won't have too far to go since the property is a funeral home.
okay mowerconsultant ill accept that.you are
bound to know what you are doing. that one with
post and house in the background is the one that
threw me a little. i still dont think i understand
but that wont be the first time thats happened.
joshua, i admire a person sticks by his guns.
even if you were wrong ,you the one i want at my back in a scrap. luck to ya
