W.hat type programs do you recommend for new business, Clip is fairly expensive for a company that has debit load for new equipment, etc. All suggestions appreciated

take a look at quickbooks.
Quickbooks or Quickbooks Pro
If your going to do the business end then it pays to have a good program...Good Luck\\

I talked about this before, but here goes again. If you're looking for an easily customizable accounting program that "doesn't" have a scheduling function try "Medlin Shareware" you can download a copy of it at http://www.medlin.com All you really need is the accounts recievable and invoicing module. Try it, if you like it it's only $38 to register. I've been using it for years and haven't found anything simpler or better and I've tried them all. You can use pre-printed forms from Nebs, or use plain paper, or design your own statements and invoices.
