I'm looking at buying a new mid mount ZTR, considering a Grasshopper 225 with 61 inch deck. Does anyone have any experience with one?

I just bought a new Grasshopper 428D midmount with a 72" deck. It is a great machine. I had a 321D with a 61" deck for a demo and the cut was very good even on rough ground. The 25HP Kohler should provide plenty of power for the 61" deck. I have the 25 Koh. on a JD M665 and it is a real workhorse. Have you considered the diesel eng. With the price of gasoline, the diesel is an attractive option. My new 72" diesel uses half the fuel that my 60" gas uses. I can get off-road diesel for 1.01/gal!!
