Recycled tire bedding

I have been asked to place an estimate to replace shredded tire bedding in a playground. If anyone knows any suppliers, tips or tricks I would appreciate any info!

LW, do you have any tire recyclers in your area. you might be able to get shredded tire material from them. good luck.

Do you mow anywhere in the area that this is going to be placed or are you just putting it down?

I mowed a day care that had this in the play area, and more in the grass that the little ones threw all over the place. I finally had to let this customer go. They did not want to pay to pick it up, and I did not want to run over the pieces with my mower.

Fortunately this will be a one shot deal. No mowing at all. Actually I am glad for the same reason stated. Rubber Chips everywhere! I found a supplier In Ohio said $1.70/sq. ft. But still shopping around.
