I contacted Shindaiwa about getting a brushcutter kit for the T350, just in case I would want to use it for brushcutting, but didn't want to use the bicycle handlebars all the time.
Here is the reply:

Thank you for your interest in Shindaiwa products. You can easily adapt a
trimmer into a brushcutter, but we do suggest that you buy the conversion
kit. This kit does include the bicycle handles though, which is to help
with control and safety measures. This kit should be available at your
local dealer. You can find your local dealer by going to http://www.shindaiwa.com
and clicking on "Dealers Near you."

If you have additional questions, feel free to contact us at
info@shindaiwa.com or call us at 800-521-7733 from 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific
Time. Thanks.

Just in case someone else wanted to know.

I just toss on a Shindaiwa Tornado blade and take off...safe enough for me.

I have the t-260 and do not have the bicycle handles.and the trimmer works good and is safe to use, just follow directions and practice saftey, and I use the blade with the chain saw teeth.

You using the 6 tooth, or 12 tooth? I've only been using the 6 tooth, but curious how the 12 tooth Tornado blade works. I use a T-260, too. (Love those blades !!!...can spend 20 dollars and make a grand with it easy)
