Edging

Some folks may think this is dumb question, but I will ask anyway.

Do you use a stick edger to edge a mulched area that has no border? (The grass comes up to the mulch.)

Do you edge, mow, trim and blow? I am asking in what order.

I would also like to ask what you guys do with flag stones?

at least I think they're called flag stones; stone paving blacks with grass in between.
