I live in Central Pennsylvania and I was just wondering if someone could tell me what a fair price would be for cutting and trimming an acre yard. Just a ball park figure would be great. Thanks

First calculate your operating costs. Then calculate your overhead costs. Then calculate your profits. Add them up and there is your price.

As much as you can get. If you are only selling mowing you won't get much.

Add the following:
1. Reliability. Be there when you're supposed to be there
2. Professionalism. Clean truck, equipment in working order, uniform, etc
3. Personability. Smile and say a few words to them.
4. Quality. Do good work
5. Security. Make your customers feel at ease around you, remove all beer cans from your truck :)

Do these and you've added 40-60% VALUE to your service. Remember, few customers shop for price, most customers shop for value.
