I adjusted my RPM's and they are running approximately between 3770-3790 with the blades engaged. Is this too much or just a little high? I've talked with other LCO's with Choppers and they run theirs at 3750. I assume these numbers are o.k.

You should be OK with that setting. I run mine at that and have for years and many hours. I did keep mine at 3600 for the first 100 hours.

Id consider your setting perfect,mine seems to like it there,and if you want less ,its easyt enough to back off it a little.

I have mine set at about 3860 RPM when the machine is not moving with the blades on. Once I get mowing they run right 3750 3800 Seems to be ok. But who knows that might be why my valves clatter off and on.
