Does anyone have Netscape to check to see if Lawnsite works on it OK now? You may not be able to post here until it is all set up, but email me if you have Netscape and it works or doesn't work. Thanks

We found a tester. At the present moment, Lawnsite isn't working on Netscape, but will be fixed soon, but in the mean time, spread the word that it can only be accessed by IE or AOL until it's fixed.

Eric,
I just switched over to Netscape 6. It's working fine here.

That's good to hear. Thanks for the report. How about members with the older versions?
The requested URL(lawnsite.com) not found on Netscape version 4.7. I'd rather use IE anyway.

Thanks for the report on this. I heard that from Chuck too, the older 4.7 didn't work, but it will hopefully be fixed tomorrow. Not to many use Netscape or especially the older versions.

:o Now I know why I could not get on.
Netscape man 100%, cant stand IE, too much like AOHell. Anyway, I'm using 4.77 and it has been rocky lately with all the changes on Lawnsite, however, nothing like what is described above. Never been able to NOT login.

Your missing out on a lot of the technology that has been created for the internet since those releases.
I would have to say some of the major ones being security updates.
Chuck
Like I said I run 4.77 with 128 bit strong encryption. The 6.x series only incorporates AOL IM, something I disable on 4.77 anyway, and a few other cpu draining features. As for plugins, I have everything that you can get on 6.x, plus mines faster. As for why I don't like IE? Well, in its infancy, back in the 2.0 days, it was always a few steps behind Netscape. I recently tried a modern version of IE and one of the major things I noticed is the lack of a history listed BACK button, as well as a very confusing Outlook Express mail interface. I guess its a Ford / Chevy thing. I'm just upset at the AOL/Netscape merger and what it breeded....6.x.
