Been a bummer - yesterday I almost slid into a lake. Nothing dangerous really, just got to close and bogged up to the axle. Had to unhook the trailer and pull it out with the truck. Then when I hitched up again I forgot to lock the hitch - remembered real quick when I went to load the Z - trailer flew up and slammed down on the bumper. No damage that some toilet paper couldn't fix.
Then today while cutting a couple acre account, in the middle of nowhere out back I hit a piece of 2x2x1/4 angle, in concrete sticking up just below the grass. When I hit it the mower stopped dead. Thought I slung a rod or something. It bent and put a small gash in the inner deck area on the left side and the blade was hitting it. Rode back to the truck and got the trusty vise grips (and more toilet paper), bent it back enough and finished the job.
