19hp Kawi...20Hp Kohler??

I am gonna ask the expert here....between a 19hp Kawasaki..and a Kohler 20Hp...on a Scag TC...which would you choose if there was no price diference?? which one and why??? thanks

19 kaw, we went with 4 kaw last season no problems go japanese.

You likely won't go wrong with either as both are very good. I believe a thread search will result in the similar answer. One difference the Kohler has hydraulic lifters which eliminates the need for valve adjustment. I do understand they work best with 10W30 but some do not like to carry a second weight of oil. Do some home work and if you feel they are similar - buy American.
