Ok, So i found a 97 F250 heavy duty 4x4 gas with a 7.5 meyers poly plow and a fisher 2000 swing mount spreader. Spreader frame will need to be welded in a few spots, the rear reciever looks to be rusted in. the plow looks barely used, maybe a dozen times and the truck frame looks good, maybe a good painting. Its a single cab long bed with xl decor and shift on the floor and rubber floors.

Truck has 88,000 original miles. He is asking 6500.00

I was thinking of giving him 5700 and call it a day. The plow and salter are worth that alone

Any insight?

Sounds worth it to me. Is the motor the 5.8?

Just a word of caution....I bought a 97 F250 work truck and it is perfect in every way except it EATS GAS....I would definitely pass or bid much lower. We keep saying we are going to get rid of ours every day!!!

My 99 Eats gas too. it have 5.4 liter

What gas motor does the 97 come with??

I will call the guy again tomarrow and check on some more information. We may possibly build it into another flatbed truck/dump or just run our dump insert out of that truck, not really sure yet.

O and j pocket, I also thought of puttin our flatbed on this truck and putting the body back on the f250, just for you :)
