Got it tonight, taking the lettering off tomorrow, sanding/grinding down the dump box and re painting it, then relettering it. I gotta clean out the inside too, oh I got a 8.5 Western Pro Plow too.

If I was getting a personal truck/work truck I wanted an extended cab diesel, but this is for work only and I have a car for personal use, I just dont get the car until may 15th lol.

Ken, I was only going to get a diesel if it was a personal and work truck. This is just a work truck so no need for a diesel.

RedWingsDet
05-08-2006, 07:12 PM
the deal fell through with the other ford and didnt pick it up.... but I did sell the chevy.. and I'm loving this f350, its saves a heck of alot of time when its time to dump.

How did you jack knife it in drive?

RedWingsDet
05-08-2006, 07:18 PM
just turning in drive to sharp, I guess my toung isnt long enough, I need to get a longer reciver hitch, because the hitch im using one is the kind that is bolted directly to the truck so theres absolutly no space between the ball and the bumper.

For mulch and what not I charge a $25-$35 delivery fee plus I mark up the materials abuot $10 or so per yard.

It all depends on the customer (good customer, one time customer, etc.) and area.

RedWingsDet

Lawnworks, I paid under 20k for it.

Elmo, thanks, but im not worried since it only took us 2 hours to put down 5 yards of mulch it didnt have time to stain...

Jim- Thank you, I like it alot.

Is that an ultramount plow hitch in the front I see? Do you park the truck and trailer at home? Do your neighboors give you trouble or did you get a zoning variance.

Yes its an ultramount, and no I do not park it at home, I have a shop that has a fenced in 60x40ft lot to store equipment.

Electric or hydrolic lift?

I have an electric lift for my 12 ft flatbed... it is almost a hobby for me to pull right beside some poor guys that are pitch forking debris out of there truck at the landfill... and I just hit a switch and go! It is definately one of the sweetest purchases I have ever made.

RedWingsDet
07-02-2006, 11:54 PM
Electric. Its deff. easier than a standard truck, however even with the standard trucks you can use tarps and layer them every foot or so and it only will take a minute to get the debris out, however I still love my dump.

This truck made me ALOT of money this past year. I dont see why more guys have dump trucks. They're alot nicer. I also have a 2500HD now too. That way for sod jobs, while the dump is getting loaded with the old lawn from the tearout the chevy is off picking up sod. Plus these trucks are beasts when it comes to plowing.
