Just starting????? You need to move to Virginia. I am mowing 5 of my customers tomorrow for the fourth time! Just Kidding, Ya'll probably get so much more per cut up there in Chowder land that you can make more than me with 5 fewer cuts per year.

You poor things. Living up in that fridgid north. Here in sc we been cutting since march 10. Full blast. Sometimes we start March 1st. Last cut is usually November 15. Sometimes later. We may be on the bottom of every other list lol. But we at the top when it comes to warmth and sunshine.

I am building a "new" aerator out of a old yazoo and a brinkley, I have played with it on part of my own lawn last week. This morning I wake up to an inch of snow, but the plugs are gone now.. Might have to put the blower back on.

Central CT:
Ill start mowing some lawns come Monday. Absolute earliest I can remember having to mow. Mowed my own front yard this morning. Just finished my cleanups Friday, and was mowing parts of some yards last week while doing cleanups.
Bill

It started snowing at 10:00 AM and stoped around 6:30 PM. We got 2" on the grass, none on the roads,28 degrees. This will slow down the customers that are anxious to get their lawns cleaned.

got about 9 inches in NY where i am (at college, Utica NY) thought the grass was going to need mowing by the weekend, but its white now. go figure. i mowed my lawn back last weekend back home in southern NY.
the snow will melt and its gonna be a wet mess. i was wearing shorts two weeks ago cuz it was 70 degrees. gotta love this weather......
