Is it a trade with no money involved? Just bike for boat? Or are you giving him like a few $$ and the bike.

your making a good decision with an Inboard/outboard vs getting an outboard especially if your going to be doing any wakeboarding its a whole lot easier to pump up the wakes with an I/O. Wakeboarding is definatley a sport worth getting into, its hard to beat a day on the lake...

Although I’m not a boat owner, I’ve always heard that boat owners 2 happiest times are we they buy the boat and then when they sell it.

rfed32 trade the boat for the bike, if it is a good trade!!! You will have the time of your life. Remember this can get expensive you just have to cut more yards thats all.

 double post but that saying about the 2 best days of having a Boat isnt true, boating is awesome every time your on the river or lake, maybe not so awesome if it the boat or engine has got problems ...

looks good frosty, heres my baby, shes got a indmar assult 350 so it could sit for 2 years and then toss it int he water and it will start right up no priming or anything just turn on the blower and turn the key. (alot better than our old boat that had a fairly unreliable outboard) My friend has a 450 in his and it sucks gas soo fast....

As a boat owner I am not sure what that means...well at least half is true.... I have had my boat for 4 seasons working on 5 seasons and I tell ya...the joy I get outta seein the kids swimming, fishing, wakeboarding, and just there hair blowing in the wind. I would not change the boating experience for the world....:headphones:

That might be true to a degree, but it seems like too much work for me. Can you carry a cooler while you're out boardin? I'll stick to the through-hull exaust for the attention grabber :weightlifter:

Yea im a uscriber to Hot Boat magazine, and babes do tend to flock to speed boats... the friend of mine with the 450 has above water exhausts, and honestly I hate his Boat after you get off your ears ring and you cant hear anyhting, And thats one thing when its a cigarett boat but not a ski boat. I Love the noice my boat makes at idol, that plup plup plup of the bubbles coming up underneath the platform.

TWU you don't have to take the cooler with you if you spend enough money they are built right into the boat. Here is a picture of mine, and yes there is nothing better then a day at the lake.

Here's a pic of our boat; it's a 21' 1963 Cruisers Inc. lapstrake wooden boat with a 4 cylinder Mercrury 115HP outboard. It'll do 55MPH with no trouble. It was originally my Grandparents' boat, they gave it to us, and we refurbished it to better than new condition. This pic was taken at the 2005 Woodne Boat Show in Newport, RI. We're never going to sell it, but we got offers as high as $35,000 for it! There's less than 10 left in the U.S. in it's condition. Wooden boats are a labor of love! It's a classic!:cool2:

Amen, that boats a beauty... But me and my dad redid an old simmons sea skiff we got for $100 ive got a picture of it somewhere, but before we even did anywork on it people were making 1 and 2 k offers for it, but "IT WAS NOT FOR SALE" 4 years and gallons of blood sweat and tears into it, its beautiful, and its FOR SALE now and NOBODY will buy it lol. Everyone wants one for around 1k to redo themselves...

Bullshit! Although a beutiful boat and anyone would be proud to own it.......that boat does NOT do 55 mph.

You send me a radar slip from a local sherriff of that boat doing 55mph and I will send you $100. Not everyone you ever met is stupid you should know.

My parents have a new Searay with 250 horse that barely does 55......

yea bud but ur parents fiberglass searay weighs 2000 lbs I bet his doenst even weigh a 1000. I belive him. We have a 70 on our wooden boat and itll get right up to 40. It has everything to do with how their geared and how much the boat weighs. Our 22' Supra is around a ton and a quarter and its got 345 hp and will hit 45 tops, but its got torque for miles....

Well, beleive it or not...it dosen't matter to me, I've SEEN the speed on the GPS, and it was at 56 MPH. BTW..."that" boat, is one of 10 still in seaworthy condition, ours is probably one of two which is in better than new condition. Your Searay is one of about 60,000-100,000 or more...not one of a kind! Wooden boats are timeless...fiberglass boats are not!

I think by next month this time I will have been on the lake.

Well he needs to prove it.....oh and BTW their is a big gap between 45mph and 55 mph. I have buddies who have barebones aluminum fishing boats with outboard 115hp that wont do 55.

Like I said not everyone is stupid.
