Synthetic or Not for Hydro?

Please share your opinions with me regarding the use of synthetic oil for the hydro system.

I hear that it is okay to use synthetic, but I don't really know if there is a benefit when synthetic is used particularly in the hydro system.

I also have read that you do not use Lubrizol when you put synthetic in there, but is that good or bad?

In other words, is it better just to use regular Mobil 10w40 motor oil (as shipped from factory) with Lubrizol, or to not use Lubrizol at all and to put synthetic oil in there?

Either way you are fine.
As you know, you do not use the Lubrizol with the synthetic oil, the Lubrizol is a zinc additive and is not needed with synthetic oil.
