new fertilizer spreader

My old 3 point hitch spreader has finally rusted down. Curious to know if any manufacturers build a spreader with a plastic hopper that has a 3 point hook up. Unable to find so far.

I had a Vicon 3pt spreader for the roughs and fairways back in the golf course days. Very nice spreader!

I agree with the mechanic. Vicon makes a heck of a 3 point spreader. Holds a lot, calibrates easily, gives a nice, consitent pattern.

I know COSMO offers a poly cone spreader.

Two of the best vicon type spreaders on the market are probably Lely and Herd (sp?), I am pretty sure both offer spreaders made with fiberglass and/or plastic as well as metal, and in just about any size you can think of. I think agrifab also makes a plastic three point spreader.
