View Full Version : Illuminating a fountain

I've got a friend who has a small rock fountain that leads down into his pool and he has asked me to illuminate it somehow. When the people who did it put it in they put the typical light at the top that pretty much only illuminates the top rock of the fountain. I am looking for more of a projection type light that will cover the whole fountain from a far & create shadows etc. There are some small queen palms around the pool but besides that not much in the way of vegetation.

I would use a Brass Mr-11 Lamped fixture small and powerful 10 watt to a 35 watt spot or flood. If powered by an UL 1838 listed Transformer you must be ten feet from the water. This is a perfect Design/Consult/Demonstration situation. Grab a few spot fixtures you use and try it with the client there. You may like one effect and they might like another. Your job is to facilitate there likes and visions safetly and efficiently.Dont guess on this one unless you live next door.Gas prices are too high for us to guess what might look good and have to go back to change it.
