i went to warm up my mower before i loaded on the trailer today and it started first pull as usual but reved and bog. I engaged the blades and the power went even lower. cleaned air filter and carb but didt seem to help. any suggestions

you could have water in gas or carb prob.. make sure you don't have any slop in your butterfly's. i have 2 14hp @ a25hp,had the same problem with one of the 14hp engines

i mentioned in another post, that i experienced a similar problem although power loss was only evident when i started to cut. plugs were the problem. although, i did change the fuel filter and gas as well.

another idea..........i have a 20 horse kohler on a walker ...older version.....similar symptoms............the fuel pump is vacume operated not mechanical and some of the vacume lines where dried out ......replaced these lines and problem went away
