Trim Star oil change question??

Hey PJ,

I just read that I need to change my oil and air filter after the first 5 hrs. I actually have 23 hrs already! My dealer is running 3 to 4 days on commercial service right now. How easy would it be for me to change it myself and would this affect the warranty? Also, I'm playing catch up right now(with all the rain). Will another 2 or 3 hrs hurt the machine? Thank for all of your help and I will pay more attention to the service aspect.

It is your oil and oil filter, no air filter change needed.
It is super easy to do.
Doubtful that another 4 hours is going to make a difference.

Is there anything in the owners manual that might assist me in changing the oil?

Yes it is explained and also with pictures on page 4-4 and 4-5 of your owners manual.
Very easy to do, there is a drain hose under your fuel tank, slide it out past the rear of the frame, remove plug from hose and the oil drains.
Filter is just as easy...
