Right now I just do small area mowing. The lots in my area typically aren't very large at all.

I service 1/4 acre to acre+ lots, it's special in that since I have a $35 minimum, I don't get too many below 10k sq. feet and since I have an entry-level WAM, the lots larger in size become ineffective cost-wise.

Some folks service acre+ lots only, but I don't think you'll find someone services ONLY 1/2 acre lots, so to speak.

I Only Do Small Residential Lawns, 10,000 Sq Ft Or Less. I Would Say My Avg Size Lawns Are 7,000 Sq Ft. I Dont Do Any Big Yards, Those People Just Dont Wanna Pay. I Get More Money Per Small Yd

Our avg lots are 8400 sq feet so we are cutting maybe 5k on average but we cut hundreds of mobile homes also and they are are 1,500 -2,000 feet on avg and we cut some acre plus properties also. But i can say we specialize in mobile home lots as we use special string .065, and market 6 parks specifically. But we cut 40-50 residentials per day also, and also commercial

Hey what do you do around the skirting, I usually spray a small strip of round up because weedeater string can eat the skirt like a hot knife cuts through butter... I only have one mobile home thou I can see this being profitable even with a large machine if you have several in a row, that would rule.

round up, go slow or talk them into putting a metal trim at the bottom or landscapeing. i have abought 35 in one park its less than 2 miles from my house, 15 to 20.00 a pop, its very profitable.
